a Flemish Baroque painter. According to Houbraken he was from Antwerp and was a good landscape painter. Houbraken did not know more about him or his date of birth or death. According to the RKD, his Death of Maria from 1633 still survives in the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal. He is mentioned in Cornelis de Bie's book of painters. In his testament he is called a "fijnschilder", known for seascapes and history pieces.
