1710 ca1787
a cellist and Italian composer, presumably born in the first half of the eighteenth century. He left some collected Sonatas for cello and continuo published in Paris and in Germany. There are also Concerts for cello and orchestra whose manuscripts are preserved in Berlin. His sonatas show more clearly the path of the composer's maturity, from a decidedly baroque language, sometimes with affectation of the Rococo, with some signs of Classicism and, especially in the melodic line, the pre-Romantic sensibility.
