a French painter and art teacher. Bouhot was born in Bard-lès-Époisses. As a pupil of Pierre Prévost the painter, Bouhot had his first exhibition in the Salon in 1808. In 1810, his works received several accolades. He was the director of the École de Dessin (School of Drawing) in Semur-en-Auxois. He died in Semur-en-Auxois.
