a German composer. Johann Graf was first orchestral musician and then came as an oboist for spoon Holtz's Regiment after Hungary . In 1718 he joined as an oboist and violinist in the service of the Elector of Mainz, then the bishop of Bamberg. 1723 he became concertmaster and in 1739 Kapellmeister to Prince Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. Graf composed twelve melodically very attractive violin sonatas. In addition, the nine-part of it's motet handed in convertendo. Two of his six sons, Christian Ernst Graf and Friedrich Hartmann Graf, also stood out as a composer.
