an Austro-German painter of the Baroque era. Very little is known about his life. He is mostly recognised for his frescoed ceilings of the Sanctuary of St. Mary of Mount Carmel in Baitenhausen in Meersburg on Lake Constance, 1760, and for his ceiling frescoes in the nave of the Sanctuary of St. Maria Loreto in Westheim.
