a Spanish writer and translator born in Toledo, Spain. He was the son of the doctor Escalona Alonso Hernández de Aguilar. He translated the works of Lucian making use of the Latin editions of James Moltzer and Gilbert Cousin cognatus and Ioannes Sambucus, and Italian I Dilettevoli Dialogi of Nicolo da Lonigo; in total, twenty seven dialogues, speeches and two lucianescas sixteen imitations of Cinquecento.
