an Italian violinist and composer at the court of Prince Esterházy. At the age of 16, he was in the court orchestra of Prince Paul II. In 1761 Joseph Haydn composed the solos in his symphonies no. 6 Le matin, no. 7 Le midi and no. 8 Le soir for his friend Tomasini, and at least two violin concertos as well. In 1802 Tomasini became head of the Princely Chamber Music.
