a Baroque painter who lived and died in Prague, Bohemia. He received his first training from his father Josef Reiner, who worked as a sculptor in Prague. Subsequently, he was student of the painter Petr Brandl and Michael Wenzel Halbax (Halwachs) and after 1705 by Anton Ferdinand Schweiger. In his early years he established himself a painter's workshop and became a member of the Prague painter Brotherhood. His work was also of the in Silesia active painter Michael Willmann influences.
