a Spanish navigator and explorer, co-discoverer of America. He is undoubtedly the least remembered of the three brothers Pinzón co-discoverers of America with Christopher Columbus. He was born in Palos around 1445. He was, therefore, the second of the brothers by birth, after Martín Alonso, and was indeed a "second son," not only with respect to the firstborn, but also in relation to the younger, more entrepreneurial Vicente Yáñez. Hence, he will always be forgotten. An unjust forgetting because he was always an exemplary collaborator of his brothers and, in some cases, his participation was decisive in several trips.
