a French writer. Not very much information is available about her life. She wrote poems to be printed in a very small quantity, mainly for her family and inner circle. Later, to contribute to a charitable work, she agreed to print more of her poems. These were published in "La Revue des Deux Mondes" and then grouped by Amyot publisher in 1855 under the name of "Poems and News".
