Serb patriarch from 1747 to 1752 for the Serbian Orthodox Church. We find first mention of Gavrilovic in 1741 when he was metropolitan of Skopje, the duty that he performed as well when he was elected patriarch in 1747. This was the time when the Serb Patriarchate of Pec was contested between the Serbs, who were seen as rebels by the Ottomans, and Phanariote Greeks, who were very much loyal to the authorities.
