Boatswain on the Earl of Sandwich. Took his gang (fellow crewmen George Gidley, Richard St. Quinton, and Andrew Zekerman), stole the ship (and cargo) and killed the rest of the crew and passengers (eight in all). Captured and executed at Newgate.
