Seasonable at any time.

Ingredients
  1. A few thin slices of cold boiled beef
  2. butter
  3. cabbage sprouts or green savoys
  4. 1 sliced onion
  5. pepper taste
  6. salt to taste
Directions
  • Fry the slices of beef gently in a little butter, taking care not to dry them up
  • Boil the cabbage sprouts or green savoys till tender
  • Drain well, mince, and place, till quite hot, in a frying-pan, with butter, a sliced onion, and seasoning of pepper and salt until the onion is done
  • Lay the beef on a flat dish, and cover with the fried cabbage and serve
