1. 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1 cup granulated sugar
  3. 9 tablespoons (1 stick plus 1 tablespoon) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes 1/2 cup blanched almonds
  • In the bowl of a food processor, combine the flour, sugar, butter, and almonds.
  • Pulse until the mixture becomes just crumbly.
